Uttarakhand: Two killed in landslide

At least two men were killed in a landslide on National Highway NH-9 near Nainital's Khairna in Uttarakhand.

One person's body has been recovered.

The Uttarakhand Weather Department has issued a heavy rain alert for both Kumaon and Garhwal regions of Uttarakhand over the next 72 hours.

Earlier, five people were killed in a landslide that took place due to heavy rainfall near Dharchula-Twaghat motorway in Uttarakhand.

Uttarakhand has been experiencing heavy rainfall from the past few days and many incidents of natural calamities are being reported.
