Unnao rape victim gang-raped again by 5 men on pretext of help in UP
Criminals have no fear of law and justice before committing a crime. The same thing has happened in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao where a rape victim who was fighting for her sexual assault case, gang-raped by 5 men.
The victim claimed that she was again gang-raped on the pretext of help in her previous case. Reports said that she has been fighting for justice in her 2017 rape case that took place in Unnao.
According to the reports of the Hindustan Times, the accused blackmailed continuously and also promised to help her in her rape case. The five accused have been identified as Anup Singh Dileep Yadav, Satish, Navraj Singh, and Vishwanaraian Singh.
The woman who got married in 2012, alleged that her husband and two of his friends raped her in 2017. Since then, her husband is lodged in jail.
"I met the five accused in February 2018 and they promised to contest my case and help me in getting justice in 20 days," the woman wrote in her police complaint.
She also revealed that the accused also extorted Rs 6,000 from the victim. According to the police, the accused took her thumb impression on a blank paper and had been raping her since then by blackmailing the victim.
The victim also claimed that the accused also pressurizing her to file a fake rape case against two seers as they want to extort money of Rs 4 lakh from them.
Meanwhile, police have arrested one of the five rapists after a complaint was filed by the victim at Bangarmau police station on Thursday. While the other four accused are still at large.
