Tripura CM Biplab Deb advice youth not to run behind politicians for jobs, instead setup a 'paan shop' or 'milk cows for livelihood'
The newly elected Tripura CM Biplab Deb is on strike to deliver controversial statements from last few days. Before making a remark on Miss World 1997 Diana Haydon Mr Deb asserted that internet and satellite existed in Mahabharata time. Now, the CM has come up with a career advisor for the youth. Deb suggests youth to not to run after politicians seeking government jobs and instead become self-employed under the Prime Minister's Mudra scheme. The CM advice to youth to acset up a paan stall or milk cows for survival and not to waste their crucial time running behind politicians.
Deb, while addressing a seminar organised by Tripura Veterinary Council, said, “The youth here runs after political parties for several years to get a government job and waste the vital time of their life, had the same youth instead of running after parties set up a paan shop he would have by now had a bank balance of Rs 5 lakhs.” The seminar was organised on the eve of World Veterinary Day in Agartala.
According to news agency ANI, Deb suggested that educated young people should not run behind government jobs, and rather become self-employed by starting various projects under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana.
Deb added that narrow-minded concepts like “a graduate cannot opt for farming, start poultry, or piggery because if he does so, his class will go down” has left many unemployed.
