‘Threatened to kill me’: Mumbai actress files molestation case against financier
An actress (whose name has not been disclosed) filed a molestation case against a financier at Mumbai’s Juhu Police Station, police said on April 14.
In her complaint, the actress alleged that she was molested on the pretext of being paid for a video recording. When she opposed it, the man abused her and threatened to kill her.
Following the complaint, the police have registered a case under sections 354 (Sexual Harassment), 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation), 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
