Sidelined BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha goes ‘Khamosh’ on question over Ram Temple row; joins Mamata’s opposition rally

The ruling Bhartiya Janata Party’s critical MP from Patna, Shatrughan Sinha went into his popular dialogue ‘Khamosh’ mode on Friday when he was asked about the Ayodhya Ram Temple row. BJP’s shotgun, who is now-a-days critical to the party has went a step ahead and joined an anti-BJP rally organised by the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata’s Brigade Parade Ground.

When a reporter asked him a question on Ram Temple, Mr Sinha simply said, ''Khamosh'' (quiet) and walked away. Also, when Sinha was asked about the chances of Mamata Banerjee as the Prime Minister, he played safe.

"She is a national leader in true sense. She is really a tried, tested and experienced leader... Still there is time for people see the writing on the wall," he said.

"There is a long gap between performances and promises. That gap needs to be handled well. The people will decide who will be the next Prime Minister, it is not our job," he added.

Sinha has arrived in the mega rally for a ‘grand alliance’ of opposition parties at Kolkata’s Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata.
