Shocking! This man forgot his name and couldn’t remember his family; here’s why
It seems like a scene from Bollywood’s film is going on in Rajasthan, where a 37-year-old Dharambir Das forgets his name and also unable to recognise his family members.
As per the reports of HT, Das was in a mental hospital in Bengal’s Berhampore district for the last two years.
On Friday night, Police attempted to end this story by bringing him to New Delhi.
Reportedly, Das, a resident of Khoh village in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district and he was found wandering in 2016 near Azimgunj railway station in West Bengal's Murshidabad.
However, he could not recognise himself that what was his real name a few weeks ago.
As per the Police, Dharambir was speaking something which can’t be understood by the local people and even can’t remember his name and also from where he came from. His unnatural behaviour made Police that he needs a treatment.
Therefore, Police requested a Lalbagh court to take the man for the treatment to the Berhampore mental hospital. The court has granted permission for his treatment. Das was admitted to the hospital on 29th October 2016.
However, Das was not responding to the treatment since he got admitted. His condition started improving only from this January 2018. Das told to police that he was from a village in Bharatpur.
As soon as Police come to know about his recovery and from where he belongs, they contacted the Lakshmangarh police station in Rajasthan.
The Rajasthan Police helped them to contact the Das’s mother in Kafanwada village.
The family was left in shock and stunned after seeing Das again after a long time as he was missing from 2016.
