Shocking! Hyderabad engineer’s wife burnt body found in a locked flat; police suspects murder

The burnt body of a 27-year-old woman was found inside her flat that was locked from outside. The woman lived with her husband in Hyderabad but his husband reportedly was not there when the incident took place. There were some injury marks on her body apart from the burn injuries added to the suspicious circumstances of her death. When the incident happened, her six-month-old son was with her, the woman’s neighbors, who found her body, had rescued her baby.

It was that neighbors who called the police early in the morning to inform them about the incident.

After conducting a preliminary investigation, the police said that the incident happened at around 12.30 am today while the women’s husband, who is an engineer, had left home for work at 8.30 Monday. Howerver, it was not clear who had locked the flat from outside.

Ruling out suicide case, the police said that the incident is a murder case.

An FIR has been file and a further investigation into the case has been launched by the Hyderabad police.
