Recent tweets of Shatrughan Sinha indicates he may join Congress

The recent tweets of Bharatiya Janata Party MP Shatrughan Sinha indicate that he may join the Congress party. The actor-turned-politician Sinha, who is a Member of Parliament from Bihar’s Patna, went all praise for the Congress chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Congress president Rahul Gandhi, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and other congress leaders days after Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi launched scathing attacks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP at the Congress Plenary Session.

Rahul had said that Modi is the name of corruption and Sonia had said sabka saath sabka vikas is all drama.

After the fiery speeches of both of the Congress leaders, Sinha took to twitter to praise them all. Giving credit of raking up national debates on burning issues of farmers and other issues to Rahul Gandhi, Sinha termed the appointment of Gandhi as the congress president a ‘great emergence’. Also, he called the Gandhi’s speech a powerful one. Gandhi’s speech was full of attacks on Modi, BJP national president Amit Shah and BJP.

“Through hard hitting national debates on burning issues of farmers /after effects of demonetization / complicated GST / sealing issue of traders.... The great emergence of newly appointed president INC – the @RahulGandhi & his powerful speech in 84th Maha-Adhiveshan,” Sinha tweeted.

Sinha, wh once termed himself as the fan of Modi, has been going upset with the high commands of the party. After the Bihar assembly elections, he started criticizing the BJP’s policies.

Praising other leaders of the Congress, he said “under the able guidance of Sonia Gandhi / Manmohan Singh / Mallikarjun Kharge /man of all seasons @rssurjewala , friend Anand Sharma, intellectual P. Chidambaram & ultimate charmer of substance & mindblowing mass leader of all time, NS Sidhu. Everything coming in March/April”.

Commenting on the parliament sessions, he said that the opposition is in win-win situation in the parliament session. He tweeted “Many feel that it could be the last parliament session, although I hope wish & pray that it does complete its full term...Lots of important developments are taking place – right from non-functioning of parliament where opponents are in a win-win position...1>2”.
