Rajasthan: Sanwaliya Seth Temple’s donation box opened after Diwali; Rs 7 crore counted so far
The donation box of the Sanwaliya Seth Temple in Chittorgarh district opened on November 22 for the first time after Diwali. The total amount of donations counted exceeds Rs 7 crore; however, counting of 13 bags is still ongoing. Gold, silver, and other jewelry offerings are yet to be counted.
After accounting for the cash and other offerings, it is estimated that the total amount will cross the figure of Rs 12 crore.
Donaiton Box Opened After Two Months.
The temple administration opens the donation box on the Chaudas of every month. But this time, the donation box has been opened after two months because of the Diwali festival. As per Temple Board administrative officer Kailash Chandra Dadhich, the donation box was opened after performing aarti, rajbhog, and other rituals. Till date, the temple administration has counted 7 crore 10 lakh and 76 thousand 500 rupees.

Currently, the temple administration is busy counting 13 bags of currency notes. After this , the gold, silver, and other offerings will be counted.
