Rajasthan: Nine-month-old girl allegedly raped by minor boy in Hindon city; no FIR filed
In a shameful incident, a nine-month-old baby girl was allegedly raped by a minor boy in Rajasthan’s village. The incident took place in the Jatnangla village in Karauli district of Hindon city where the minor boy is accused of raping the minor girl.
According to family members of the minor, the boy took the victim to his home on Monday and dropped her back to her house after a while. The accused reside in the same locality.
The minor’s parents noticed blood gushing out from her private parts, following which her parents rushed her to a hospital where a medical examination was conducted which revealed sexual assault and the police were informed. "There was bleeding from the girl's private parts...Hospital board has conducted a medical examination of the child," the police said.
Medical Jurist, Dr Pushpendra Gupta said that prima facie, it is a rape case.
However, as per reports, so far no first information report (FIR) in this regard is yet registered. The accused is likely to be booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
“No FIR has been filed in this regard as of yet and a final forensic science laboratory (FSL) report is awaited in this regard,” Assistant sub-inspector with the (ASI) with the Suroth Police Station, Kunwar Singh told news agency ANI.
