Rajasthan Election 2018: PM Narendra Modi calls UPA govt a 'remote control administration' says, 'we saved Rs 90,000 crore black money'

In the upcoming Rajasthan election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has leveled charges against the UPA government, naming their term as “remote control administration.”

PM Modi was speaking in the suicide capital of India, Kota, and he alleged that the UPA government has been favoring the corrupt people and the practice has been going on through the last 2 terms of the Congress rule.

Modi termed UPA government rule as a remote control, which was under the hands of “madam” Sonia Gandhi, who is the chairperson of the United Progressive Alliance.

PM Modi, while rallying in Kota, said “When we came to power, we began investigations and put a check on corruption. Nearly Rs. 90,000 crore of money which earlier went into the pockets of the corrupt have been saved.”

PM Modi later on added that “When madam ran the government with remote control, the girl that wasn’t even born was widowed on govt papers, given pensions. The family that didn’t exist was given ration card; the kid that wasn’t even born was given a scholarship in schools.”

In the rebuttal, Congress president Rahul Gandhi, while speaking in Pokhran, said “Earlier, Modi ji used to talk about two crore jobs, a fair MSP for farmers, he used to talk against corruption. But these days he does not utter a single word about any of these promises and issue.”

Gandhi added that “Modi ji says India was a sleeping giant before he became Prime Minister. This is an insult to all the Indians who have built this nation.”
