Rajasthan Election 2018: CM Vasundhara Raje announces poll manifesto 'Sankalp Patra;' promises 'acche din' for farmers and unemployed
Rajasthan Assembly election is around the corner and today the incumbent BJP has announced the poll manifesto ‘Sankalp Patra’ for the upcoming polls.
CM Vasundhara Raje has promised to provide jobs for the unemployed youths and has said to double the farmers income in the next tenure.
The state, which is grappling with the unemployment issues and a high rate of farmers suicide, has led to a grave agrarian crisis. Farmers and farm labourers have complained about not getting adequate price for the crops and th promises of the government to procure a Minimum Support Price has remained flak.
While announcing the ‘Sankalp Patra’, Union Minister for Finance, Arun Jaitley has said that ‘Loan Waiver panel will benefit the farmers and that the growth is visible in every city of Rajasthan.’
The manifesto has promised a complete loan waiver, and CM Vasundhara Raje has said that ‘schemes have been introduced to benefit women of all ages, and hot meals, bicycles have been given to girls going to schools.’
The BJP has increased the pensions for older women in Rajasthan and benefits are being given to the womens at the Ration shops. The Rajasthan election is scheduled for December 7 and the results for the polls will be announced on December 11.
‘81 new colleges and 7 new medical colleges have been opened in Rajasthan and pension of elderly has been directly transferred to the bank accounts, and farm loans worth Rs 50,000 is waived off in our term,’ said CM Vasundhara Raje, while announcing the election manifesto for the polls.
