Rajasthan: Bodies of man, woman found in water tank
The dead bodies of a man and a woman were found floating in a water tank in Motisara village of Barmer district. Police rushed to the spot and took the bodies into custody.
The deceased have been identified as Jogaram and Channani, residents of Sindhari tehsil. As per reports, Channani, who was married, was having a love affair with Jogaram. Both were missing from the house since November 13 following which a missing report was also registered at the Sindhari police station. Both of the dead bodies are completely rotten, as they are said to be 10 days old.
The bodies of both men and women have been sent for postmortem, and the bodies will then be handed over to relatives for final rites, according to police.
Six months after their marriage, Channani's husband, Vishnaram, disappeared from the home of their in-laws on November 13. In-laws then filed a missing complaint at the Sindhari police station.
Following the complaint, the police began searching and even traveled to Hyderabad on suspicion. The police said that it will take further legal action on the basis of the report of the family members.
