Rahul Gandhi dares PM Modi for a debate raising 3 questions, says, 'Can make it easier for you'
While the election season is on and media is undertaking various interviews of the political leaders, Congress president Rahul Gandhi has dared the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a one-on-one debate over ‘corruption issue.’
Rahul Gandhi, while bringing up the issue of debate, tweeted saying, “Dear PM, Scared of debating me on corruption? I can make it easier for you. Let's go open book, so you can prepare: 1. Rafale + Anil Ambani 2. Nirav Modi 3. Amit Shah + Demonetisation.”
While PM Modi was addressing a rally today in Latur, and attacked the Congress party for “speaking the same language as that of Pakistan,” Rahul Gandhi has taken the discourse back to the corruption issue.
The Congress president had earlier also demanded for a debate over the issue of corruption and other like that of US Presidential style and Gandhi had earlier also tweeted requesting for the same; “Just give me 20 minutes to debate with the PM, one-on-one debate on Rafale, combat jets but he doesn't have the guts.”
The three issues raised in the tweet were Rafale jet deal, which was inked between India and France and the Congress has alleged that PM Narendra Modi favoured Anil Ambani-led Reliance Defence by handing them a deal of Rs 30,000 crore with Dassault.
The other two cases raised are about Nirav Modi, who is accused of defaulting Rs 13,000 crore from Punjab National Bank and demonetisation, wherein as per a report, BJP president Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah earned double profit post the note ban.
