Pulwama attack: ‘If India attacks us, we will retaliate,’ says Pakistan PM Imran Khan
Days after February 14 Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan spoke on the matter and said If India will attack, they won't keep quite.
"If Indian government thinks you will attack us and we will not think of retaliating, we will retaliate. We all know starting a war is in the hands of humans, where it will lead us only God knows. This issue should be solved through dialogue," said Pakistan PM Imran Khan on Pulwama attack.
Imran Khan denied of Pakistan playing any role in the Pulwama terror attack in which 40 soldiers were killed by a suicide bomber. "My statement is for the Indian government. You (Indian govt) have blamed the Pakistan government without any evidence," Imran Khan said.
Imran Khan asked India to investigate the matter and will get full co-operation from the neighbouring country. Khan also assured India that action would be taken against the perpetrators of the Pulwama attack if Delhi shares 'evidence'.
However, the Indian government said Pakistan-backed Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) was behind Pulwama attack. A 19-year-old school dropout Adil Ahmed Dar, who joined the outfit last year was the suicide bomber who targeted a convoy of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on February 14 in over 40 security personnel were killed. Reportedly, the Jaish-e-Mohammad is believed to have strong support from the Pakistani army and Inter-Services Intelligence or ISI.
Immediately after the Pulwama attack, India urged the United Nations to brand Pakistan-based terror group Jaish chief Masood Azhar as a global terrorist. The government has also launched diplomatic moves to work towards Pakistan's isolation.

"It is in our interest that nobody from our soil spreads violence. I want to tell Indian govt that we will take action if evidence is found against anyone from Pakistan," Imran Khan said.
Further speaking on Pulwama attack, Pakistan PM asked what benefit they will get from the terror attack. "Pakistan ko isse kya faayda hai? Kyu Pakistan karega iss stage ke upar jab Pakistan stability ki taraf ja raha hai?" Pak PM asked.
