Pulwama Attack: After death of 40 jawans, Pak denies involvement in terrorist attack calls it, ‘a matter of grave concern’
In a major attack in Pulwama in which 40 paramilitary personnel were killed on Thursday, Pakistan has rejected its involvement in the terrorist attack in south Kashmir’s district.
In a statement released by the Pak government called the incident as ‘a matter of grave concern’. In one of the deadliest terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s since three decades of terrorism. Pakistan- based Jaish-e-Mohammed terror group (JeM) had fielded the over 350 kgs explosives-laden vehicle into a CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) bus in Pulwama district on Thursday and killed at least 40 jawans killed and several injured.
An attack in Kashmir’s Pulwama district is ‘a matter of grave concern’, Pak government said in a statement.
Pak in the statement also said that the country has always condemned acts of violence anywhere in the world. ‘We strongly reject any insinuation by elements in the Indian media and government that seek to link the attack to Pakistan without investigations,’ Pakistan government said in a statement.
The Indian government has strongly slammed Pakistan over the terror attack carried about by Jaish-e-Mohammed and demanded that Islamabad should stop supporting terrorist organisations and also dismantle the structure form its country.
