As the Congress party floored red carpet for Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who was seen with Rahul Gandhi in a roadshow in Lucknow, is likely to hold a press conference today.

Priyanka, who is on a four day visit to Uttar Pradesh along side the Lok Sabha elections of 2019, she has met most of the Congress workers and district chiefs deciding upon the poll campaign for the Eastern UP.

Earlier, Priyanka Gandhi held two meetings for staright 15 hours with the party workers from various constituencies, which ended at 5:30 am on Tuesday. “I am learning a lot from them. I am getting their view on how to fight elections, to win.”

Priyanka Gandhi further announced that she would be fulfilling the goal given to her by brother Rahul Gandhi and she’ll be going all out in the upcoming elections.

Priyanka said, “Rahul Gandhi has given us a goal to build inclusive politics. This is an effort towards that. We will give everything into this fight for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.”

Meanwhile, the Congress is looking to strengthen its position across the state and they might try to entertain local leadership and the sidelines leaders of the BJP, SP or BSP who have floated their own outfits like Shivpal Yadav and Raghuraj Pratap Singh.

As per media reports, Congress is charting out a plan to include Shivpal Yadav in the cavalcade of its party as the grand old party is looking to sew caste alliance across the region of UP.
