PM Modi takes jibe over Priyanka Gandhi's political debut, says, 'For Congress, family is the party'
After Congress played its master stroke by announcing Priyanka Gandhi as their General Secretary, PM Modi has taken a jibe over the grand old party’s nepotism.
PM Modi, while addressing the booth workers of the BJP, attacked the Congress party alleging that ‘their party belongs to one family but the BJP has no family system and anyone can become PM, or party president.’
PM Modi said that “in his party, the BJP, decisions are not taken on the wishes of one family. In our party, decisions are taken on the basis of what party workers want.”
While interacting with the booth workers of Maharashtra, PM Modi said that “Hamari party main Koi bhi nirnaya iss baat se nahi hote hain ki ek vyakti ya ek parivaar kya chahta hai, aur isliye kaha jata hai ki desh main zyadatar cases mein parivaar hi party hai, lekin BJP main party hi parivaar hai.”
Earlier, the Congress party had made Priyanka Gandhi Vadra the in-charge of Uttar Pradesh East and Jyotiraditya Scindia as the in-charge of UP West for the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
Rahul Gandhi, while speaking in a rally said, “Aaj maine Priyanka ko General Seceratary bana diya hai UP ka, matlab ab yahan pe Congress apna CM bithane ka kaam karegi, Dilli mein Congress party ke gathbandhan ki sarkar or UP mein poore dum se Congress party ladegi.”
While taking a dig at PM Modi, Rahul mentioned Rafale and said, “Modi Ji kehte the ki mujhe PM mat banao chowkidaar banao, chowkidaar ne Hindustan ki Air Force se Rs 30, 000 crore lekar Anil Ambani ko de diye.”
