NSA Ajit Doval holds talks with US counterpart John Bolton; shows evidence of Pak using F-16 o target Indian jets

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval held talks with US counterpart John Bolton about over the tension between India and Pakistan, following the Pulwama attack and air strike in avenge to the incident. Doval also discussed of Pakistan using F-16 fighter planes to target Indian jets also provided evidence of the same. Doval showed them the parts of the American AIM-120 air-to-air missiles.

"The parts of the AMRAAM air to air missile were shown to the American defence attache to provide evidence," sources in the government said.

The two NSAs also have discussed the fresh proposal being considered by the UN Security Council's sanctions committee to designate Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar as a global terrorist.

Notably, this is the third exchange between the National Security Advisors of India and the US after the Pulwama terror attack on February 14. In the wake of deadly Pulwama attack, in which over 40 CRPF personnel were killed, America had supported India's right to self-defence. Immediately, JeM claimed responsibility for the 14 February Pulwama terror attack.

According to news agency ANI, America had termed the Indian Air Force (IAF) air strike on Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camp in Pakistan's Balakot, was destroyed, as 'counter-terrorism' actions.
