Noida: Depressed due to present lockdown, woman commits suicide by jumping off 17th floor of highrise
A women committed suicide by jumping off the 17th floor of a building in Noida, on Saturday. The incident was reported from a society in Sector 78, where the woman was suffering because of depression.
As Maintained by the police, the women was a teacher at a government school in Delhi and was under going depression because of the current lockdown situation.
speaking about the incident, Police Commissioner Sankalp Sharma stated, "the woman jumped off the 17th floor of Antariksh Golf View - 2 residential highrise, in Noida sector 78."
The perished was recognized as 35-year-old Bhagwati Bisht, who committed suicide at approximately 4 am in the morning on Saturday.
As stated by the police, the women died on the spot as soon as she jumped off from her appartment floor. The body of the dead has been sent for autopsy.
Further investigation in the matter is underway.
