Navjot Singh Sidhu calls Modi Prachar Mantri; says, 'will be known for pakoda and bhagoda schemes
Congress leader and Punjab Minister Navjot Singh are been on the peak when it's about attacking Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi since he joined Congress party. In the latest jibe at PM Modi, cricketer-turned-politician Sidhu said those in power are answerable and questions are asked to them.
Congress leader and BJP’s staunchest critic Navjot Singh Sidhu told NDTV that PM Modi will be known for two schemes only. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be known for two schemes," he told NDTV. "One is the pakoda scheme for youngsters, the other is the bhagoda (runaway) scheme," said Sidhu.
Sidhu, who has received a notice from the Election Commission last week for alleged personal attacks on PM Modi said, "Those who are not in power cannot answer questions, because they are not the ones taking decisions. But here, every time the government is asked questions, it runs."
However, Congress has been repeatedly claiming that the BJP is avoiding all the concern issues an trying to deflect the attention of the people----like unemployment. Taking jibe at Narendra Modi, Punjab Minister said that Prime Minister is no longer the "Pradhan Mantri but Prachar Mantri (Publicity Minister)... He had spent 6000 crores on his own publicity".
Attacking NDA government over unemployment Sidhu said that BJP promised to create 25 lakh jobs but have failed to even create 2 lakh jobs. And these are government figures. Even the big contracts that should go To HAL (public sector aviation giant Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) or DRDO, which made the Agni and Prithvi missiles... they are going to foreign firms," Congress leader said.
