MP: 15 dead as bus falls off bridge in Khargone

In a tragic incident, at least 15 people died and 25 were injured after a bus fell from a bridge in Madhya Pradesh's Khargone on May 9. The rescue team and police swiftly responded to the accident, and the rescue operation is currently underway.

Upon hearing the news, the Madhya Pradesh government promptly announced immediate financial assistance to the affected individuals and their families. A sum of Rs 4 lakhs will be provided to the families of the deceased, while those seriously injured will receive Rs 50,000 each. Additionally, individuals who sustained minor injuries in the mishap will be given Rs 25,000 each as compensation.

As of now, the cause of the accident remains unknown.
