Mother Dairy hikes full cream milk prices in Delhi-NCR; check out new rates here
Bad news for the residents of the Delhi-NCR region, as Mother Dairy has raised the price of its full cream milk by Rs 1 per litre and tokenized milk by Rs 2 per liter. Following the price increase, people will have to pay Rs 64 per liter for a 1 liter pack of full-cream milk, which previously cost Rs 63.
However, the prices of 500 ml packs of full cream milk have been kept unchanged. Mother Dairy announced the revised price on November 20.
Notably, this is the fourth price hike in milk - an essential food item in 2022. Earlier this year, the prices were hiked in March, August, and October.

According to customers, milk prices increased four times this year and it is very difficult for poor people to afford milk.
"Milk price has risen four times this year but unfortunately our salary gets revised only once in a year. It affects our monthly expenditure,” said a customer named Surya Parkash Joshi, as quoted by ANI.
"Milk is necessary... everyone uses it on a regular basis. This is the fourth time milk prices have been hiked in a year; Under such circumstances, poor people would not be able to afford it. Milk is now within the reach of the rich only,” said a customer named Swati, as quoted by ANI.

Notably, Mother Dairy is the largest milk supplier in Delhi-NCR (National Capital Region). The company sells over 30 lakh litres of milk every day through its vending machines and packets. The company’s milk booths and retail outlets cover the entire Delhi-NCR region.
