In yet another tragic incident highlighting the danger of stray dogs, a five-year-old girl was mauled to death by a pack of dogs in the Koriya district of Chhattisgarh.
The incident occurred early in the morning on Friday, near Margdarshan School Road in Baikunthpur.
Attack by Stray Dogs
According to the police, the victim, Sukanti, was attacked by a group of stray dogs while she was going to attend nature's call at around 6 am on Friday.
The pack of dogs inflicted serious injuries on the child, resulting in her death.
Investigation
After receiving information about the incident, the police rushed to the spot to conduct an investigation. Based on preliminary investigation, the police suspect that the victim died due to the dogs' attack.
The police have sent the victim's body for autopsy, and further investigation is ongoing.
