Around four days ago a video of Uttar Pradesh Police encounter was viral on social media. In this video of Sambhal district, when the police pistol failed, the brave SI scared the criminals by shouting 'Thai Thai' from his mouth. A team of UP Police can be seen during the encounter in this video.
Now, after the video went viral the Police Department has decided to award cop who had shouted 'thai thai' from the mouth. The department will award the cop with the bravery award.
UP police believe that what Droja Manoj, SI did at that time was no lesser than a bravery, hence his name will be sent to the DGP for the bravery award. SP Yamuna Prasad said, 'My colleague SI Manoj Kumar has worked as a hero. The department has taken this positively. After the SI pistol jammed, he shouted with his mouth to morally support his colleagues.
What is the matter all about:
On October 13, the police Assamaoli police station was checking the vehicles at about 11 o'clock in the night. During this time two people came riding on a bike. According to the police, both of them ran breaking the barriers. When the police followed both of them were hiding in the sugarcane field. The cops team were called to snatch them by surrounding them from across the field.
From one side of the field, SI Manoj Kumar and Balram covered them. According to the police, when the criminal fired at them, Manoj Kumar took out his revolver to for the counter-attack, but he failed to fire on them.
After which, Druga and the constable started to move forward by shouting 'thai thai'. In the 13-second video, SI Manoj can be seen, 'Maro-Maro, Gero-Ghero, Thai-thai'.
