Mamata vs Center: Amidst Mamata Banerjee's dharna politics, Opposition leaders line up to meet Bengal CM
Mamata Banerjee has been attracting the Opposition leaders while she has been sitting on ‘Satyagraha’ against the ‘coup’ of Center via the CBI and today, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu met the leader.
The CRPF were deployed by the Home Ministry to protect the CBI building in Kolkata, after the Kolkata police had ‘detained’ some CBI officials.
Today, news agency ANI tweeted saying, “Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu meets West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee at the stage where she has been sitting on 'Save the Constitution' dharna since February 3 over CBI issue.”
Earlier, RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav, DMK leader Kanimozhi and other Opposition stalwarts had paid visit to the Bengal lady, who has been protecting Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar.
Although, UP CM Yogi Adityanath who was earlier denied permission to hold rally in Bengal has said, “This (West Bengal) government is embroiled in undemocratic and unconstitutional activities and that is the reason why a 'sanyasi' and 'yogi' like me is not being allowed to step on the soil of Bengal.”
Yogi added that “Nothing can be more shameful for a democracy than a Chief Minister sitting on a dharna.”
