Mamata Banerjee warns BJP against clash in West Bengal: ‘Mumse takraega choor choor ho jaega’
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has once again hit out at BJP and warned it over the clashes with the ruling Trinamool Congress in West Bengal. She said that whosoever will dare to fight with TMC will be completely demolished.
Speaking at an Eid gathering in West Bengal on Wednesday, Mamata Banerjee said, "Jo humse takrayega, who choor choor ho jayega (Anyone who takes on us will be demolished)".
“Tyaag ka naam hai Hindu, Imaan ka naam hai Musalman, Pyaar ka naam hai Isaai, Sikhon ka naam hai Balidan. Ye hai hamara pyaara Hindustan. Iski raksha humlog karenge. Jo humse takraega wo choor choor ho jaega. Ye hamara slogan hai,” TMC chief said.
Banerjee also drew an analogy with sunrise and the BJP's rise in West Bengal. “There is nothing to be scared. Muddai Lakh bura chahe to kya hota hai, wahi hota hai jo manzoor-e-khuda hota hai. Sometimes when the sun rises, its rays are very harsh but later it fades away. Don't be scared, the faster they captured EVMs, the quicker they will go away,” she said.
Meanwhile, attacking BJP over religion politics, Trinamool MP Abhishek Banerjee on Tuesday mocked the party's new "Jai Maha Kali" slogan as ‘Jai Shri Ram’ TRPs are sliding down.
"People told me that Dilip Ghosh has asked to raise slogans of Jai Ma Kaali along with Jai Sri Ram. I told them, Mamata Banerjee was there so that is why suddenly Ram's TRP has gone down and Ma Kaali's TRP is going up,” TMC MP from Diamond Harbour said.
