Maharashtra power tussle: Shiv Sena accuses BJP of poaching MLAs
As the power tussle between Shiv Sena and BJP continues in Mahrashtra, the Shiv Sena on Thursday made another shocking statement claiming that its ally BJP is poaching MLAs. In its editorial Saamna, Shiv Sena said the people of Maharashtra want CM from Shiv Sena and accused BJP using 'money power' to break the deadlock over government formation.
"Some people are trying to win over new Sena MLAs to with money power. Such complaints are increasing. Sena will not allow a politics devoid of values in the state," the editorial reads.
"The previous govt is trying to form the new government with money power. But no one is helping farmers hence farmers want a Sena CM."
However, Congress spokesperson Sachin Sawant while reacting to the accusations said, "Shivsena is an alliance partner of @BJP4India and part of #Mahayuti If it feels scared that #BJP will poach their MLAs, then we can very well understand how much #BJP is morally corrupt and why we must save Maharashtra from them. Does #Mahayuti hv moral rights to form govt now?"
Meanwhile, in Saamna, Shiv Sena said that they are ready to talk on the matter. The Saamna editorial reads, "Sena’s door is also open for talks."
The power tussle between Shiv Sena and BJP have started after the results of election came on 24th October. There is no result has come out in favour of forming goverment.
