Lucknow Horror: Shop owner repeatedly rapes girl, blackmails with obscene video

In a shocking incident reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow, A 23-year-old clothes shop owner was taken into police custody for sexually abusing a girl, recording a video of the act, and repeatedly raping her by blackmailing her and threatening to make the obscene video viral.

The accused, identified as Suraj Tiwari, met the victim on a social media platform in 2021. As maintained by the victim, in 2021, she had told the accused that she was looking for a job. Upon hearing this, the accused stated that there was a clothes showroom nearby looking for a salesgirl.

The victim began working as a sales girl in the showroom and Suraj allegedly sexually assaulted her and also took photos and videos. Furthermore, by threatening to make the obscene video viral, he continued to sexually assault her on several occasions.

Not being able to withstand the torture, she left her job in February 2022, but the accused did not stop there. He reached the girl's house in November 2022, threatened her, and asked her to come to his shop to work.

When the girl reached the shop, he sexually abused her again. A few days later, when she was returning home, the accused, Suraj, followed her and stopped the auto on the way and threatened her. He showed her the obscene images and threatened to share it online.

Unable to bear the mental torture, the victim registered a case against the accused in Lucknow's Ashiana police station.

Ashiana police station, SHO, Ajay Mishra, stated, “Based on the victim's statement in the case, 23-year-old Suraj Tiwari has been charged under IPC Sections 376, 323, 504 and 506. He has been arrested and further legal action is being taken.”
