Lok Sabha Elections 2019: BJP releases 3rd list, Sambit Patra to contest from Puri
As the 2019 Lok Sabha election is approaching, Bhartiya Janta Party has released its third list which names national spokesperson Sambit Patra as the candidate from Puri.
The third list included the names of 36 candidates, out of which 23 nominees are from Andhra Pradesh where the voting is scheduled to happen on April 11. The list includes the names of six candidates from Maharashtra, and five from Odisha.
News agency ANI tweeted, “BJP releases list of 36 candidates from Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Maharashtra, Odisha. Girish Bapat to contest from Pune (Maharashtra), Sambit Patra to contest from Puri (Odisha).”
Further, the BJP had also released the list of candidates who would contest from Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Meghalaya in the legislative assembly elections. “BJP releases list of 51 candidates for elections to the legislative assembly of Andhra Pradesh, 22 candidates for Odisha and 1 candidate for by-election in Selsella (Meghalaya),” tweeted ANI.
