Lok Sabha 2019: 'Nobody talks about who will be PM in Grand Alliance,' claims RJD's Tejashwi Yadav

As Upendra Kushwaha joined the Grand Alliance of Bihar, the politics has now turned towards the prime ministerial face for 2019 polls, as RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav has declared that no is in the run for the face of PM.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has claimed that the allies of the BJP are unhappy due to the unfulfilled promises and the arrogance of the leaders sitting right at the top of in the hierarchy.

Tejashwi Yadav told NDTV that “It's because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah's arrogance... they have not been respecting their allies. If you see, all the NDA alliance partners across the country are either going away or threatening to leave the BJP.”

Tejashwi Yadav has been at the helm of the party since his father and RJD’s supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav was sent to jail in a fodder scam case. Tejashwi, who is said to have soured his relationship with his elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav, has welcomed Upendra Kushwaha in the alliance whole heartedly and said that BJP will have to pay the price for its political vendetta against his family members.

Talking about the BJP’s rigidness to share seats with RLSP and bowing down to Ram Vilas Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party, Tejashwi said, “The BJP had won 22 seats in 2014 and it is now contesting only 17 seats. JD(U) had won only two but is getting 17. Such an arrangement shows how confident the NDA is. But I am really glad that Ram Vilas Paswan ji reserved a seat in Rajya Sabha because he knows that NDA is going to lose very badly in Bihar”
