'Kumbhkaran': PM Modi coins new name for Congress-NCP alliance at Wardha rally

Gearing up for the Lok Sabha election, PM Narendra Modi’s election campaign has reached Maharashtra, where he addressed a rally in Wardha and attacked the Congress-NCP alliance in the state.

PM Modi reiterated the Chowkidar term and took a dig at the Congress party for calling him a ‘toilet’s chowkidar,’ and said that ‘I am proud to be a toilet’s chowkidar.’

PM Modi, while sharpening its attack, said “Jo Hindustan ke hero hain unki zarurat hai ya jo Pakistan mein hero ban gaye hain unki? Aapko sabut chahiye ya desh ke sabuto pe garv? Yeh vahi Congress-NCP ka gathbandhan hai jisne Azad Maidan mein bheed ko shaheedo ke smarak ko jute se raundne ki chhut di thi.”

On the ISRO’s achievement of launching satellites to space, PM Modi congratulated the scientists and added that “First of all I would like to congratulate our space scientists and ISRO for their achievement. By successfully launching PSLVC45, more than 2 dozen of satellites from 5 countries were sent to space.”

BJP is contesting the Lok Sabha polls in alliance with the Shiv Sena, whereas Congress has forged an electoral tie-up with Sharad Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party. Although, Pawar has declared that he won’t contest the polls this time around.

After the Special NIA court gave a clean chit to Swami Aseemanand and others in the Samjhauta train blast case, the ‘Hindu terror’ has come into question and PM Modi took a dig at the Congress stating that “Iss desh ke croron logo par Hindu atankwad ka daag lagane ka prayaas Congress ne hi kiya hai. Hazaro saal ka itihaas, Hindu kabhi aatankwad kare aisi ek bhi ghatna hai kya?”
