Delhi: KKR captain Nitish Rana's wife chased by two boys; one arrested
Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper Nitish Rana's wife, Saachi Marwah, experienced a terrifying incident when two youths began following her car in the national capital.
The incident occurred in Model Town area while Saachi was on her way home. Two individuals on a two-wheeler started stalking her and persistently followed her vehicle. Late, she took to Instagram and shared the details of the incident.
Marwah claimed on the social media platform that the police were uncooperative when she attempted to file a complaint against the two youths.
"Just a casual day in Delhi, on my way back home from work! These guys randomly started hitting my car! Just no reason, stalked and chased and the police told me on the phone when I complained, ‘so now that you’ve reached home safe, let it go! Next time, number note kar lena’ (note the number next time), aye aye captain, next time, I’ll take their phone numbers also!" she wrote on her Instagram story.
However, police today claimed to have arrested one person in connection with the case.
According to the news agency ANI, in response to the complaint filed by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper at the Kirti Nagar police station, the police have arrested a person.
The complaint stated that two boys attempted to follow the cricketer's wife while she was on her way to Model Town. A case of stalking and harassment has been registered against the two boys who attempted to follow the cricketer's wife.
