Kerala: Woman crushes son to death as she wants to live with her lover

In a shocking incident has come to light from Kerala’s Kannur city where a mother killed her son.

Police have arrested the 22-year-old woman for the murder of her child. The woman has been identified as Saranya. She has been taken to police custody earlier this week after police gathered some evidence against her from the crime scene.

She was also produced before a district magistrate’s court on Wednesday afternoon.

The body of the one-and-a-half-year-old son was found by the locals. During the investigation, the accused woman told Police that her husband is responsible for their child’s death. Later, Police arrested her husband.

However, the evidence was showing that the mother is the killer. On suspicion, police called Saranya for interrogation and admitted to the horrific crime.

She revealed spine-chilling details about the crime that she crushed to death by hurling him against the sea wall.

According to the police, an official said that the mother is the killer of her own son and implicated her husband because she wanted to live with her paramour.

On Tuesday, Police took her to the crime spot and recreated the crime scene as per the sequence.
