Karnataka Election results 2018: As BJP marks in Karnataka leads, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge looks for chances of an alliance with JDS
As counting began across 38 centres in Karnataka that will decide the fate of JD(S), BJP and Congress and who will be the 'King maker' in the assembly elections 2018. Where BJP takes lead by vast difference, double of Congress, and Far ahead of Janta Dal-Secular, seems Yeddyurappa will make a comeback in 2018. Looking out at the BJP's chance of victory, Congress's leader Mallikarjun Kharge looks for possibilities of alliance with JDS. The Congress leader said, “Correct position will be known as 11-11.30 am. I am going to discuss it( possibility of an alliance with JDS) with Ghulam Nabi Azad and Ashok Gehlot.”
According to official EC trends, the BJP is leading in 110 seats, Congress 56, JD(S)+ 39, Others 02. While reports of early trends still emerging and BJP declares its candidate pick Yeddyurappa as the winner in Shikaripura.
Meanwhile, when BJP leader Sadananda Gowda was asked if there are any chances of alliance with JDS, the BJP lawmaker said, 'There is no question of alliance(with JDS) as we are already crossing 112 seats.'
Earlier, Janata Dal (S) before polls counting claimed that it will win and said that the candidate of the Chief Minister's post HD Kumaraswamy would be "King" and not "Kingmaker."
Aiming at 2019 Lok Sabha Election top parties are in neck-to-neck-fight to become the 'Karnataka's King'. Well, all the parties are confident to win the distinguish assembly election of 2018 with 222 constituencies seats.
