Karnataka crisis: BJP's Yeddyurappa claims they won't destabilize Cong-JDS govt, 'Rahul Gandhi need not worry'

As the resort politics has made a u-turn in Karnataka, the crisis of poaching the lawmakers has risen but BJP’s Yeddyurappa has said that they won’t destabilize Congress-JDS government.

‘Operation Lotus’ seems to be in progress as the BJP is vying in to come up with an alternate power center in Karnataka and had already shifted more than 100 MLA’s of its party to a resort in Gurugram, although the BJP has said that its lawmakers will return today to Bengaluru.

Congress yesterday called in a CLP meeting in order to show a strength of unity to the BJP, which might be planning to topple the government which is running in coalition with Janta Dal Secular.

BS Yeddyurappa, former CM of Karnataka and BJP leader, said, “Our MLAs are returning to Bengaluru from Delhi. We will tour the state and analyse the situation of drought. We will not destabilize this govt at any cost. Congress and JDS need not worry.”

Congress’ Siddaramaiah yesterday said after the CLP meeting that “76 MLAs were present physically out of the 79. I will send notice to absentees and seek an explanation. Then I will speak to the high command.”

Former CM of Karnataka further claimed, “Including Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and central ministers are also involved in this process of destabilising our Govt. They approached our MLAs with huge offers of 50-70 crores. I have proof. How come a Chowkidar has so much money?”

Although, CM Kumaraswamy is in West Bengal to attend the Mega Opposition rally organized by CM Mamata Banerjee.
