J&K: Terrorists kill Kashmiri Pandit in Pulwama

Terrorists killed a man in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on the morning of February 26. The man, identified as Sanjay Sharma, was a resident of the Achan area and belonged to a minority community.

The incident took place at around 10:30 am when Sharma was on his way to a local market with his wife. The terrorists followed and opened fire at him. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

Police and forces cordoned off the area and are searching for the terrorists.

Meanwhile, DIG Rayees Mohammad Bhat assured to nutralising the terrorists as early as possible.

“The incident took place around 10:30am. Terrorists fired upon a member of a minority community when he was going towards a market alongwith her wife. We are searching for the terrorist and we will neutralise them as early as possible,” said DIG Rayees Mohammad.
