J&K: Former CM Farooq Abdullah’s security personnel gunned down a man who forcibly entered his house
A shocking incident has come to light from Jammu and Kashmir where a man forcibly entered state former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah’s house in Jammu today. However, former CM’s security personnel has gunned down the man.
As per the reports of HT, ‘the intruder breached the main gate of Farooq Abdullah and went inside his house. He had an argument with the duty officer there. During their fight, the officer also got injured. As soon as he entered the residence, he was shot dead immediately, said SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
As per the Police, prima facie it didn’t appear to be a terror attack.
Farooq Abdullah’s son Omar Abdullah also tweeted about the incident on his Twitter account and wrote, ‘I am aware of the incident that took place at the residence my father & I share in Bhatindi, Jammu. Details are sketchy at the moment. Initial reports suggest an intruder was able to gain entry through the front door & in to the upper lobby of the house.’
He also tweeted that, ‘Further details are awaited as the security personnel carry out the anti-sabotage checks & ascertain the background of the person who was able to force his way in to the house.’
However, security has been increased at the residence of former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, the reason behind the intruder entry into the house of Farooq Abdullah is still unknown.
