J-K: Flash floods in Doda district following cloudburst; several people feared dead

Cloudburst in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir triggered flash floods on 20 July following which many people are feared dead.

The incident, reportedly, took place around 2 am in Thatri village and the rescue operation has begun to find missing people.

It is believed that more than five houses and shops have been trapped after the flash floods.

The valley has been witnessing heavy rainfall this monsoon.

Three members of a family in Doda were killed as their house collapsed because of heavy rains last week.
