Interfaith passport issue: Union Minister Sushma Swaraj likes 'Visa Mata' for Pakistan tweet over helping Pakistanis than Indians
The External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj is being continuously trolled on micro-blogging site Twitter over an Interfaith passport controversy. Earlier, an inter-faith couple tweeted to the Union Minister over facing humiliation from the officer Vikas Mishra at the regional passport office in Uttar Pradesh Capital, asking the woman to change her last name and the man to convert to Hinduism.
As the minister took action against the officer social media attacked Swaraj and the ministry for taking a unilateral step against Mishra, claiming that he was doing his duty. Meanwhile, a Tweeple took a dig at Swaraj calling her Visa Mata for Pakistan as she keeps on helping people cross-border in Pakistan to get Visa while she doesn't prefer to give privilege to Indians over them.
The tweet read, “SHE WILL COME OUT IN PUBLIC SOMETIMES- MUST FINISH HER ASAP WHEREVER & WHOSOEVER SPOTS HER !” along with a pic of Swaraj labelled 'Visa mata'.
Well, Shushma Swaraj liked the tweet and has given a wind to row of wonders, why she liked the tweet claiming her Visa Mata for pakistanis? Does she agrees to it?
“Biased decision #ISupportVikasMishra shame on you mam...is its effect of your Islamic kidney?? (sic)” read one tweet.
"She is an almost dead woman as she runs on only one kidney (borrowed from some one else ) and any time that can stop working," a user tweeted.
Responding to trollers, Swaraj tweeted, “I was out of India from 17th to 23rd June 2018. I do not know what happened in my absence. However, I am honoured with some tweets. I am sharing them with you. So I have liked them.”
She also faced massive backlash on her Facebook page from her own BJP supporters, some of whom even demanded her removal from the union cabinet for being "too secular".
