Hyderabad Rape-Murder Case: ‘My daughter's soul must be at peace now,’ says victim’s father after police encounter

The shocking news came to light where Hyderabad police encountered all four accused of veterinarian rape and murder case. The incident took place on National Highway 44 during the wee hours on Friday when they tried to escape from the police custody.

As per reports, police brought the accused to the crime scene for recreation and as soon as they reached they tried to flee from the spot. In an attempt to stop them police had to fire on them leading to their encounter.

After encounter news broke out Disha’s family expressed their gratitude towards the police for giving their daughter justice. Her father said, “It has been 10 days to the day my daughter died. I express my gratitude towards the police and government for this. My daughter’s soul must be at peace now.”

Her mother also thanked the police and the Telangana government for partial justice “My daughter will not come back, but, this is a sigh of relief for us in this hour of grief,” she said.

The victim’s sister also expressed her happiness and said that she didn't expect the encounter of all four accuse. She said, “I am extremely happy with this punishment. Police have done a great job and I demand that no action should be taken against the police personnel.”
