Farmers denied minimum support price for produce, ransack agricultural office

Angry farmers in Mahbubnagar district ransacked an Agricultural Committee office on Friday.

The ransacking took place after the farmers, who cultivated large quantities of groundnuts, took to the streets and conducted a sitting protest demanding minimum support price for their produce.

Broken cupboards, tables and other stuff were lying in a broken state.
