Face Crushed, Scratched by Dogs: Naked body of woman found in MP’s Gwalior; rape suspected

In a shocking incident, a naked body of a 40-year-old woman, whose face and head were badly crushed, was found in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior city on April 30.

The woman’s body’s was found lying in the bushes near a drain in Madhoganj behind Angre Saheb Ka Bada.

Police confirmed that there were no clothes on the deceased’s body her head and face were crushed with a heavy stone, possibly to hide her identity. The woman was identified by her Aadhar Card that was found by the police at the scene of the crime.

According to SP Rajesh Chandel the murdered woman has been identified and her family has been informed.

The body was first discovered by locals who reported that it had been scratched by stray dogs. It is also suspected that the woman was murdered after being raped. Forensic team also collected evidence from the crime scene.

Police stated that they have found two Aadhar Cards from the scene and also checking the CCTV footages of the area.

The women’s body has been sent for the autopsy and further investigation into the matter is underway.

In another incident, a 38-year-old woman from Udaipur accused a 57-year-old village development officer for converting to Islam and marrying her.

The victim, in her complaint, stated that Ajmal Khan intoxicated her drink and raped her when she fell unconscious. She further alleged that the accused recorded the video of the act and blackmailed her. The woman further claimed that Khan allegedly threatened her to kidnap her 8-year-old girl and sell her in the neighbouring state if she doesn't accept his demands.

Police investigation into the matter is underway.
