Eight Indian fishermen apprehended by Sri Lankan Navy
Eight Indian fishermen were on 17 October detained by the Sri Lankan Navy, while fishing near the Delft Island.
The fishermen belong to Tamil Nadu's Rameswaram. They have been taken to Sri Lanka's Mannar naval camp, and the investigation is underway.

On 12 October, five Indian fishermen were arrested by Sri Lankan Navy and were sent for police remand till 25 October by the Mannar Court.
