According to police officials, the hostel warden suspected the two students of stealing Rs 8,000 from her bag and subjected them to a humiliating search, during which they were allegedly stripped. However, nothing was found on them, and the police registered a Zero FIR at IP Estate and transferred it to New Delhi District PS Tilak Marg.
Fact-finding committee constituted
In response to the incident, the college administration constituted a fact-finding committee comprising the principal and senior faculty members to investigate the matter. The warden has been shifted from the hostel, as per the police officials.
