Delhi: Man arrested for murdering friend over extra-marital affair with wife

A team from the Delhi Police Crime Branch arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with murdering his friend and burning his body.

The accused has been identified as Munishddin, he killed his friend Rashid and burned his body to destroy the evidence and evade arrest.

According to the police, the accused and the deceased’s wife were having an extra-marital affair and had conspired to eliminate Rashid.

“Team of Northern Range-II, Crime Branch, Delhi Police, arrested a 27-yr-old man, Munishddin, for murdering another man, Rashid & burning his body. Accused&deceased were friends. Deceased's wife & accused were having an extramarital affair&had conspired to eliminate him,” police said as quoted by ANI.

A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
