Data leak row: Rahul Gandhi accuses PM Modi of spying on Indians; Congress deletes it's app from Google playstore

Rahul Gandhi takes dig at PM Modi and accuses him of spying Indians and leaking the user's data to US companies. The French security researcher Elliot Alderson on Sunday tweeted that he had similar information of 'data leak' about the Congress' mobile app. Soon after the Alderson's tweet, the Congress on Monday deleted its app from the Google Play Store before the researcher could share his tweets.

The Congress President Rahul Gandhi earlier compared the PM Narendra Modi to a 'Big Boss' who spy on people and steals their data.

Taking a dig over Rahul Gandhi's tweet on PM Narendra Modi, BJP IT in charge Amit Malviya says that INC cannot make such claims, and INC app also breached data of its users.

Rahul Gandhi gave a call to #DeleteNaMoApp, but Congress deleted its own App from the App store after they were called out. What is the Congress party hiding? Malviya tweeted.

Further, Malviya took to his Twitter handle and shared a picture of the disclaimer of the site and targeted the opposition party for being upfront to accept that they will share the data with a third party.

"Hi! My name is Rahul Gandhi. I am the President of India's oldest political party. When you sign up for our official App, I give all your data to my friends in Singapore," Malviya Tweeted.

He further tweeted, Full marks to @INCIndia for stating upfront that they'll give your data to **practically anyone** - undisclosed vendors, unknown volunteers, even 'groups with similar causes'. In the theft of all forms, Congress has never been discreet!

"Inspired by Sonia Gandhi's 'all power no accountability' dictum, Congress will take all your data, even share it worldwide with orgs like Cambridge Analytica but will not take responsibility for it! Their own policy says so" he added in his tweet.
