‘Country in safe hands,’ says PM Modi hours after IAF strikes Jaish camp in PoK
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing the public in Churu in Rajasthan promising people said the country is in safe hands. Hours after India strikes on Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad across the Line of Control, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at a rally in Rajasthan's Churu: "I assure you, the country is in safe hands."
"I pledge on this soil, I will not let the country die, I will not let the country stop, I will not let the country bend. It is my promise to Mother India, I will not let your head be bowed. I salute our armed forces, I salute all fellow Indians, your Pradhan Sevak bows to you," PM Modi said in Churu.
He further stressed to his 2014 speech during the national election and said, “Today I repeat what I said back in 2014 - Saugandh mujhe is mitti ki main desh nahi mitne doonga, main desh nahi rukne doonga. Main desh nahi jhukne doonga....Mera vachan hai Bharat maa ko, tera sheesh nahi jhukne doonga...”
PM Modi also spoke about PM-KISAN scheme of Rs 75,000 crore for 12 crore farmers. “Within next 10 years Rs 7.5 Lakh Crore will be deposited in the accounts of farmers. They will not have to do anything for it. They will directly get a notification on their mobile phones, saying that they have received the amount,” PM Modi said.
After 14 February deadly attack in Pulwama in which over 40 CRPF men were killed, Indian Air Force conducted a major operation across LoC and have blown the terror camps of Jaish-e-Mohammad. Indian Air force Jets dropped 1000 kgs bombs at Jaish-e-Muhammed (JeM) terror camp in Balakot, Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) on Tuesday morning.
