Congress tags actress Priyanka Chopra instead of Priyanka Chaturvedi in a tweet to take on Modi of 'lying'
Congress mistakenly tags actress Priyanka Chopra instead of Priyanka Chaturvedi in a tweet to take on Modi of 'lying'
The Grand Old Party, Congress made a blooper while tweeting from its official Twitter account. The party made a blooper by tagging Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra in a tweet instead of party spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi. This blunder of the opposition party gave another chance to BJP and its bhakta.
On Thursday, Congress took Twitter to blame Prime Minister Modi, as they allege him of lying about the soil testing labs, which gives soil health report to the farmers.
"PM Modi is lying about Soil Testing Labs too. During UPA regime there were 1141 Soil testing laboratories: @priyankachopra", the party tweeted.
The official handle of the Congress later deleted the tweet. Soil testing labs are set up to provide farmers with soil health cards, which in turn would help them decide the quality of their products they normally grow.
However, the actress has yet not responded on this blunder of Rahul Gandhi-led Congress party. While Congress spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi earlier had approached Mumbai police and filed a complaint as after she received rape threats at her 10-year-old daughter on Twitter by a troll account user. "I have filed a complaint at the Goregaon police station. Police have assured me of prompt action in the matter," Chaturvedi told PTI.
This incident happens at a time when MEA minister Sushma Swaraj has become the target of hate messages on social media platforms like Twitter.
