'Congress is a tukde tukde gang, do you even trust them?' asks PM Modi in Saharanpur rally

With less than a week left for the 2019 Lok Sabha election, PM Narendra Modi is on a campaign trail and is now focusing on the Western UP belt, which goes to poll on April 11.

In a political rally on Friday in Saharanpur, PM Modi took a dig at the SP-BSP alliance and the Congress party for aligning against the people and the surgarcane farmers in UP.

PM Modi alleged that it was SP-BSP alliance which was responsible in closing downs of the mills and the BJP, after coming to power in UP, made them functioning again. He added that Akhilesh-Mayawati duo also destroyed the Sugarcane mills and didn’t spare the wood factories.

Attacking the Congress president Rahul Gandhi in his speeches, PM Modi referred him as ‘Shahzade,’ and said, “Yahan toh boti boti karne wale sahab bhi hain, aur Congress ke Shehzaade ke bade khaas hain. Vo boti boti kehte hain hum beti beti ke samman aur surkasha ki baat karte hain.”

As the Congress party released its manifesto, which is being seen as one of the modernist document by a party, PM Modi took a jibe at the grand old party and termed their promises as ‘hollow.’

While asking question at the rally, PM Modi said “Congress is a ‘tukde tukde gang’, do you even trust them? Or you trust the government. Congress has made fake promises. Congress backs traitors. They rely on old vote bank politics. They are ‘mahamilavati’ people.”

Voting for General Electin will begin on April 11 and the counting is scheduled for May 23.
